#Devlog 2 - Ready for the prealpha
The journey continues as we are developing, creating graphics, music, etc... We wanted to share our journey with you, the players, so we decided to do everything for the game to be playable, like adding some animations (placeholder for the most). The game currently doesn't have enough mechanics to make the game session last hours, but there are the basics of what our game will be.
Mechanics :
We reworked our combat mechanics to be more scalable and it's now easier to add new skills, weapons and shields.
The controls stay the same, the release of the mouse button triggers the skill. For a shield, you need to keep the mouse button pressed to continue using it. For a bow, you need to release the mouse button after pressing it for a certain amount of time or there will be no arrow. Keep in mind that you're not able to move when attacking or defending. Be careful to not walk on your own traps, or you'll be injured badly !
GUI :
We also worked on the GUI to improve it. It now displays all of the information and it's more user-friendly. We will let you discover the GUI.
Animations :
We did all the animations for players to be able to see what they do. The animations are here to guide the player, it will be reworked in the future to have a better look. But we already have some nice ones.
Menu :
We added a menu to our game that you can access by pressing the "Esc" key or pressing the top right corner button.
Music :
We have some music now, go ahead and listen it.
Controller friendly :
We do not recommend playing our game with a controller, but it is possible if you want or if you don't have the choice. The controller controls will be improved in later updates.
Bugs :
They seem to be hiding themselves for the moment.

Yeah, you can try it now ! Test all the functionalities, you can give us feedback and talk with us about mechanics on our discord. If you have a controller we invite you to test it on the game because we think that there might be some issues with different controllers. You can contact us on our discord if you have any issues with your controller or find any bugs. You can also post it here.
Ne(x)t work :
So we finally decided to begin working with an online vision. This doesn't mean the game will be on a server soon, but it means that we will simulate server and networking to a client. The purpose is to change the code now rather than later when there will be too much content. We will give you some news about our progress in the next weeks.
